Fundraising is a vital part of any successful band program and is necessary to continue the growth of the Warrior Band Program.
The Warrior Band Program is one of the largest in Buncombe County and we have a large percentage of students using school owned instruments. Although we receive support and funding from Buncombe County Schools, additional funding is needed to provide our students with instruments, equipment, and extra educational activities. Fundraisers are carefully chosen to ensure the maximum amount of profit for the time that is needed. All students in our program are expected to participate in fundraisers because all students in our program receive benefits from our fundraisers.
Every penny that is raised is used to support our students.
Support from band families is an integral part of our
program's success and volunteers are always
needed and welcome! Buncombe County Schools
requires that Level 1 volunteers have an application
on file at the school before lending a hand. Level 1 volunteers may assist with clerical duties and assist with day field trips but may not have unsupervised contact with students or chaperone overnight field trips. Level 2 volunteers are able to tutor students and chaperone overnight field trips. For more information, and to fill out a volunteer application
through Buncombe County School's
Volunteer Tracker, please click here .
